Shapewear for men, what will they think of next?
Lots in the press of late about slimming underwear (predominantly t-shirts and vests) for men. Indeed a new phrase seems to have been coined; while women might ‘plump’ for the girdle, men are taking a liking to the ‘mirdle’.
Cynics might consider mens shapewear a belly-bra for boys, but Marks & Spencer have been reporting huge sales of their mens shapewear ranges and the feedback from the male wearers has been hugely positive. Apparently, the main gripe is that the vests aren’t easy to get on and off, so far from perfect for a hot date!
